Snooky Pryor (septiembre 15to, 1921-10 18, 2006 ) fue un Armoniquista estadounidense de blues . fue un pionero en el común método ahora de tocar la armónica amplificada por un pequeño micrófono en la mano junto con la armónica , aunque en sus primeros registros en la década de 1940 y principios de los 50 que no utilizó este método.
Edward James Pryor nació en Lambert , Mississippi y desarrolló un delta blues con estilo influenciado por Sonny Boy Williamson I y Sonny Boy Williamson II luego Se mudó a Chicago en 1940.Murio en las cercanías de Cape Girardeau , Missouri, a la edad de 85.

Fenton Robinson nació el 23 de Septiembre de 1935 en Greenwood, Mississippi y como otros muchos bluesmen, vivió sus primeros años en una plantación de algodón y maíz, donde descubrió la música gracias a la radio y a programas como “King Biscuit Show”, donde pudo escuchar entre otros a T-Bone Walker y Gatemouth Brown, dos de sus principales influencias.Y como otros muchos bluesmen, construyó su primera y rudimentaria guitarra con la consabida caja de cigarros, hasta que pudo reunir los 13 $ necesarios para adquirir una Stella acústica en 1951.
